Press Conference of Deputy Minister Aggrey Mwanri to Address Japanese Experience on Local Government Reform

<p>The Deputy Minister, Prime Ministers' Office (Regional Administration and Local Government), Honourable Aggrey Mwanri will hold a press conference as follows:.</p> Date: 10th December 2013<br> Time: 8.30 to 10.30 am <br> Venue: National Tourisn College<br> (Shaaban Robert Street, near IFM and National Museum)</p> <p>Hon. Aggrey Mwanri is currently in Japan observing a 6-week Local Government Reform Training Programme organized by JICA and attended by 16 Tanzanian Government officials. He returns to the country on 8th December 2013.</p> <p>At the press conference, Hon. Mwanri is expected to give his observations on Japanese experience of decentralization and local development in the above training programme. He is also expected to shade some light on its application to Tanzanian Local Government Reform. </p> <p>Attendants to the press conference are expected to be the Chief Representative of JICA Tanzania Office, Mr. Yasunori Onishi, Permanent Secretary of the Prime Ministers' Office Regional Administration and Local Government, Mr. Jumanne Sagini, the 16 Tanzanian training participants as well as members of the Press. Hon. Mwanri will accept questions from the members of the Press related to the training programme.</p>
