On July 12, 2017, the Thai-Japanese Association School, in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), organized a study tour for a group of about 300 elementary students of the school to the Bangkhen Water Treatment Plant, which is under supervision of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority. This study tour program is a part of the school's curriculum, with the objective of providing an opportunity to enable the students learn about every stage of the water treatment process.

Mr. Kongkiat Charoenboonwan, Deputy Governor of the Metropolitan Wateworks Authority, delivered a welcome speech.
