The seminar on "Climate Change and Its Effects on Turkey" was held on 22 December 2021

In cooperation with JICA Turkey Office and JICA Alumni the seminar on "Climate Change and Its Effects on Turkey" was held on 22 December 2021, both online and face-to-face, in the Turkish-Japanese Foundation Culture Center meeting hall. The seminar started the opening speeches from the President of JICA Alumni, Prof. Hasan H. ATAR and Chief Representative of IKURO Nobuhiro who attended the seminar from Japan. In the seminar, meteorology and disaster management expert Prof. Dr. Mikdat KADIOĞLU shared an effective information on "Climate Change and Its Effects on Turkey" with his unique sincere style. Prof. Dr. KADIOGLU stated that the observed and predicted effects of climate change in Turkey, the drought brought about by increasing temperature and decreasing precipitation show that we are facing a dangerous disaster and gave information about the precautions to be taken. .The seminar, was followed by approximately 120 participants and the participants had the opportunity to ask many questions to the subject expert.
