Target Areas	Northern and Western Provinces
Target Groups	Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock staff and small scale farmers in isolated target areas
Purpose	Rural Extension Service provided by Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock are improved by using PaViDIA Approach (as an entry point) in target areas
Activities	Conducting needs assessments for farmers and collect necessary information such as the existing available techniques and practices in target areas Provide techniques and information with various means of extension services in target areas Develop a plan for extension officers' training including preparation of teaching material such as Training of Trainers manual Implement training for camp and district extension officers Review the existing Monitoring system, identify and analyze problems relating to Monitoring Set up Inter-department & other stakeholders' coordination and hold regular meetings among them Develop annual work plans and formulate budge plan for the Project activities
