Record of Discussions on the National Kaizen Project in Zambia Signed.

The Record of Discussions on the National KAIZEN Project in Zambia was signed on 24th September 2013, between JICA and the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI). Mr Yoshihide Teranishi, Resident Representative of JICA Zambia signed on behalf of JICA while Acting Permanent Secretary MCTI, Ms. Yvonne Chileshe signed on behalf of the Government of Zambia.

The National KAIZEN Project in Zambia will be implemented through the establishment of the KAIZEN Institute of Zambia (KIZ), which is expected to undertake KAIZEN activities which will improve quality, productivity, efficiency, employee morale and competitiveness of both the public and private sectors in Zambia in line with the Vision 2030.

The National KAIZEN Project is to be jointly implemented by Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS).
