The project in question is Metro Manila Subway Project (Phase 1) (ODA Loan) being implemented in Metro Manila region of the Republic of the Philippines. The requesters claim that they may suffer a loss because the disclosure of the Resettlement Action Plan and the provision of compensation and assistance to the affected people are not carried out in accordance with the clauses regarding involuntary resettlement in JICA’s Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations.
