Coordination meeting between PDA and Provincial Department of Water Resources and Meteorology (PDWRAM) held at Pursat PDA Office on 30th, October, 2008.
The background of this meeting that farmer’s needs for technical support from PDA is increasing because of realization of double rice cropping by irrigation facilities in Pursat Pilot Site.
Director of Pursat PDA, Deputy Director of PDA and other 3 staff, Director of Pursat PDWRAM, Director of Technical Service Center for Irrigation and Meteorology (TSC) and Chief Advisor attended the meeting. PDWRAM proposed PDA to conduct joint workshop for Pursat Pilot Site and requested PDA to provide technical support for extension services.
PDA agreed PDWRAM proposal and proposed the setting up a demonstration farm in pilot site for smooth technology transfer to farmers.
Both sides are preparing for 1st joint workshop in next dry season.
