Joint workshop for increase of agricultural production by Provincial Department of Agriculture (PDA) and Provincial Department of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) was conducted on 5th February.

25 representatives from Farmers Water User Groups (FWUG) in Pursat Pilot Site attended there.

Participants observed irrigation facilities in surrounding area and studied importance of irrigation. And also they observed demonstration farm in Pilot Site moreover be instructed about skill and knowledge for double rice cropping.

The other side, members of FWUGs have organized canal renovation and selected place of enlarged demonstration farm for coming season.
