Courtesy Call to New Head of Wajo District
PRIMA Kesehatan Team, together with PRIMA Pendidikan (Junior Secondary Education Project) Team, paid a courtesy call to a new Head of Wajo District (Bupati) on July 17th, 2009.

Venue: District Head’s Office, Wajo
Participants: Head of District (Bupati), Expert of District Government, Head and Staff of District Health Office, Staff of District Education Office, Staff of District BAPPEDA, Leaders of 2 PHCI Teams (Tanasitolo Sub-district, Baru Tancung Village), PRIMA Pendidikan and Kesehatan Project Members (Total: around 40 persons)

- Presentation by PRIMA Kesehatan Team (Mr. Kawahara, Team Leader)
- Comments by Head of District (after this, he left due to other engagement)
- Presentation by Tanasitolo Sub-district PHCI Team
- Presentation by District Education Office
- Presentation by PRIMA Pendidikan Team (Dr. Toyomane, Team Leader)
- Presentation by Baru Tancung Village PHCI Team
- Discussion moderated by Head of District Health Office (importance of coordination among stakeholders of PRIMA Pendidikan and Kesehatan, how to sustain both PRIMA Projects, etc.)
In this meeting, District Implementation Teams of PRIMA Kesehatan and Pendidikan introduced the project each other for the first time, which seemed to promote understanding of both PRIMA Projects and to realize importance of coordination among District Health Office, District Education Office and District BAPPEDA. Since Head of District could not stay until the end of the meeting and newly elected members of District Council will take seats in September 2009, PRIMA Kesehatan Team and District Health Office plans to organize another socializartion meeting with Head of District and Members of District Council after September 2009.
