On 29th September, 2009, Provincial Health Office hosted the Socialization for Non-Target Districts.
Following the JICA Expert Team's introduction of the Project, three Target Districts presented the latest
results. Participants were active in Q&A session.
So far the Project has invited Non-Target Districts to the year-end Achievement Seminar.
Still the floor was crowed:16 out of 21 Non Target Districts sent delegation, and 7 were Heads of District Health Office.
At the end of the socialization, the JICA Expert Team officially invited Non-Target Districts for the Exchange Program
to Target Districts which is tentatively scheduled in the last week of October. Participants' response was quite positive.
Some participants even expressed, "we would like to send some more personnel in addition to proposed four
(Head of District Health Office, District Head Office, BAPPEDA and District Council Member). We are happy to bear
necessary costs". In the Closing Remarks, Head of Provincial Health Office stated "Please learn intensively from
the PRIMA-Kesehatan".
The JICA Expert Team will work closely with Target Districts and Province Health Office to prepare for the Exchange Program.
