
A training program on energy efficiency, inviting 19 engineers from 11 neighboring countries (Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Georgia, Kyrgyz, Macedonia, Mongolia, Serbia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) has been implemented from 16th to 27th June at the General Directorate of Electrical Power Resources Survey and Development Administration (EIE).
H.E. Mr. Hilmi Guler, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and H.E. Mr. Nobuaki Tanaka, Ambassador of Japan, have attended the closing ceremony of this training program and confirmed the output of the cooperation of both countries in the energy efficiency field.

The winning team of the 2nd Robot Contest that was held in 27th 28th February was invited to Japan from 3rd 10th June as a special award of the Contest.
5 students and 1 teacher of the Ankara Iskitler Anatolian Technical & Industrial High School enjoyed the modern and high-technology driven city of Tokyo and friendship events with Japanese Technical High School students.

A training program on remote sensing and GIS, inviting 20 engineers from 9 neighboring countries (Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) has been implemented from 28th April to 23rd May at the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA).
