Recruitment for “Human Resource Development Scholarship Project (JDS)” 2023 has started as follows.
[Master's Program] Application period: September 4 to November 6, 2023
[Doctoral course] Application period: September 4 to December 8, 2023
The JDS provides opportunities for young government officials, who are expected to play an important role in the future in the field of social and economic development, to obtain a degree (master's or doctoral degree) at a Japanese university. The JDS was established in 1999 by Japanese Grant Aid, and is currently deployed in 19 countries, mainly in Asia, with more than 5,000 JDS fellows visiting Japan by 2023.
Since 2001, Mongolia has sent 405 JDS fellows to master's courses and 11 to doctoral courses to Japanese graduate schools.
This year, 15 students will be selected for the master's course and 1 for the doctoral course. Selected JDS fellows will study at a Japanese accepting university and study their specialized fields in English (master's course: 2 years, doctoral course: 3 years). Please refer to the figure below for details.
The recruitment seminars will be held on the following schedule. Please register in advance from the JDS website to participate. In addition, recruitment seminars are also held at major target organizations.
