JICA Climate Finance Impact Tool (Climate-FIT)

JICA has developed a planning tool with the view of mainstreaming climate change mitigation and adaptation measures into JICA's development projects across sectors.

The tool (2 versions) helps planners to:

• Estimate greenhouse gas emission reduction through the project (Mitigation)
• Assess climate risks, hence the impacts on the target areas, project activities and project outcomes, and identify adaptation measures (Adaptation)
