Objectives
The 5th Future Tourism Leaders Workshop will be held in Miyama, Kyoto, one of the Best Tourism Villages by UN Tourism (BTV). BTV recognizes outstanding examples of rural
destinations that implement tourism in a sustainable way and as a key driver for rural development and community well-being. In this two-day workshop, participants will learn about sustainable tourism measures in one of the recognized BTVs in Japan -- Miyama village. There will also be invited speakers from Taiwan and Thailand who will speak on
the contribution of tourism to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
