JICA President Tanaka held talks with Prime Minister Kurti of Kosovo

On September 28, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko held talks with Prime Minister Albin Kurti of the Republic of Kosovo, in Tokyo.
In his opening remarks, President Tanaka welcomed the progress being made on JICA's cooperation in the public broadcasting and waste sectors, among others, under the leadership of Prime Minister Kurti. In response, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for JICA's cooperation and conveyed his hope that Japanese companies would actively invest and expand into the country.
The meeting was followed by an exchange of views on reforms in the health sector, cooperation in the education sector based on the Japanese education system, and the development and utilization of human resources in the ICT field within Kosovo.
