The world is changing rapidly as the progress of globalization, the advancement of science and technology such as AI, disasters, terror attacks, conflicts, and rising nationalism. Under these circumstances, the 2030 Agenda: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was adopted by the United Nations.

The aim of the SDGs is to eradicate poverty, protect the global environment, and realize the economic development, and it emphasizes that the broad range of participants including governments of both developed and developing countries, civil societies, business, academia and other diverse stakeholders are the main actors for achieving these goals.

In this seminar, we invite Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, who is an authority of the SDGs, and discuss what the youths can do for achieving SDGs.
