JICA Objection Procedures (The Operating Procedures of Objection System) April 2005

The Modus Operandi of the Objection System regarding compliance with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations

JICA created the current Objection System to ensure compliance with the JICA Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations, which were enacted in April 2004.

The Objection System took effect April 1, 2005, and applies to cooperation projects adopted on and after that date.

The document explaining the Objection System and the contact information for the Examiner's Panel that receives requests to raise objections are displayed below.
