Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Vice Minister of Ministry of Health of Republic of Indonesia meets with JICA Senior Vice President Sachiko Imoto

On July 5, Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Vice Minister of Ministry of Health of Republic of Indonesia, Senior Vice President Sachiko Imoto at JICA Headquarters.

At the beginning of the meeting, Director Imoto mentioned the outputs of JICA's cooperation in the health sector in Indonesia, including maternal and child health care, infectious disease control, and drug and food safety. In addition, she thanked the Ministry of Health for its great efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of JICA's cooperation projects in providing emergency assistance, including procurement under Covid-19 situation.

In response, Vice Minister Dante expressed his gratitude for JICA's cooperation over the years and mentioned that Ministry of Health would like to expand cooperation in the Health System Transformation that the Ministry of Health is promoting. In addition, he added they would like to expand the corroboration for the dispatch of caregiver to Japan.

The two parties exchanged views on possible future cooperation and confirmed that they would continue to work closely together.
