Sharing its Appreciation to the People and Government of Japan, on behalf of People and Government of Papua New Guinea

On behalf of the people and the Government of PNG, Mr. Lusete Laso MANA, acting Director for PNG National Disaster Centre shared its appreciation to the people and the Government of Japan. In the handover ceremony, he highlighted that these items are not just an emergency relief goods but also a token of friendship of both countries. JICA extend our heartfelt sympathy to the victims of this unfortunate natural disasters and hopes that restoration work will go ahead steadily in the disaster-affected areas and the victims will be able to go back to their normal and peaceful lives as quickly as possible.
