In 2012; one year after the first Competency Standards (CS) training, the Ministry of Health team completed works of the CS revision. The team was led by a supervisor who had doctoral degree in CS study. A two-day training has been conducted three times for almost all the supervisors in Tonga and Reproductive Health (RH) nurses in Tongatapu Island group in order to disseminate the revised CS. In total, 64 supervisors and 27 RH nurses including Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) nurses and some nursing school teachers received the trainings. These trainings accelerated the participants' understanding on the contents of the revised CS.
