There were still about one-third of nursing supervisors who never received any of our training in the past two and a half years due to an early retirement and a frequent transfer. Therefore, we have conducted a three-day training for newly promoted nursing supervisors in each division in this first quarter. Each program contained the followings; Role and function of nursing supervisor, Competency Standard (CS) assessment, Supervisory visit, Coaching and communication, Need-based in-service training (NB-IST) and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). Each division run the training with their own local facilitators who have capacities to sustain the project activities.
