The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (Ministry of Land) held the dissemination seminar for the Inter-ministerial Prakas on Immovable Property Registration of the Code of Civil Procedure (Inter-ministerial Prakas) from the 21st to 23rd of March 2011 in the Ratanakiri province. The seminar was attended by the court clerks and registrars (with a total of 24 participants) from the 4 surrounding provinces.

During the three-day seminar, lecturers assigned from the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Land provided comprehensible explanations of compulsory execution and provisional relief using projector presentations and handouts.

It is particularly note worthy that the lecturers played a leading role in the lectures, attempting to hold interactive discussions with the participant concerning the entrustment letters and registration sheets. We believe that the input provided from the Cambodian side represents a great improvement compared with periods in the past when the Japanese side held the seminar and Japanese professor gave the lecture to participants.

From this point onward, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Land will be continuously conducting dissemination seminars on the Inter-ministerial Prakas throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.
