Ministry of Justice of Cambodia and JICA held a seminar on Juristic Person Registration based on Civil Code at Raffles Hotel Le Royal on 6th, 7th and 9th 2012. The lecturers were composed of the members of the Committee for the promotion of Commercial Registration and Commercial governance and the Committee for the International Relationship in Japan Federation of Shihoshosi Lawyer's Associations. The drafting members of Prakas on Juristic Person Registration in Ministry of Justice attended this seminar.

For this seminar, the lecturers and long term experts prepared very detailed handouts (more than two hundred pages handouts). Using these handouts, the lecturers, Mr. Naito, Mr. Ejima, Mr. Hatsuse, Mr. Ogata and Mr. Nishiyama explained the proceedings and case study on the registration of incorporation, change and striking off. Mr. Satomura and Mr. Arino also made a presentation of the flow of Juristic Person Registration Procedures in Japan.

The handouts of this seminar have been already published and will be used for the manual after the issuance of Prakas on Juristic Person Registration. We hope the Prakas on Juristic Person Registration will be implemented as a good registration model in Cambodia.
