Gender impact survey
Melkassa and Adami Tulu Agricultural Research Centres, since 2008, have been adopting gender approach by inviting wives along with husbands from participating households to technology generation activities. To evaluate the impact of the approach, FRG II has conducted a gender impact survey in September 2010 in East Shewa Zone. The survey identified some cases of positive impact on technology generation and buiding women's confidence through participation of wives in FRG activities.
