From 31/ Jan/2011 to 3/ Feb/ 2011 and from 7/ Feb/ 2011 to 10/ Feb/ 2011, the FRG II project conducted "Basic Training on FRG approach" at Melkassa Agricultural Research Center. The 44 participants were from 1 regional research institute, 11 regional research centers, 3 federal research centers and 5 universities. The participants learned the basic concepts of FRG based research activities through discussions among instructors and participating fellow researchers. They also visited FRG farmers and were impressed with the way the farmers confidently presenting their research experiences.

We expect the participants to conduct "Basic Training on FRG approach" in their regions for the other researchers from nearby research centers and universities in next year.
