ODA Press tour
Embassy of Japan organized an ODA (Official Development Assistance) press tour from March 09 to March 11, 2011, and 17 journalists visited Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) and experiment site of Melkasa Agricultural Research Center (MARC). At EIAR, the press was briefed about FRG based research approach which FRG II project promotes, its development with outputs, and future prospects. At experiment site, the FRG farmers explained practical example of the project activity, changes in the forming style, increasing of their productivity and income, and next challenges. This was reported by local TVs, radios and newspapers, and our activities were widely known in Ethiopia.
