DAC/GENDERNET biennial conference was held in Addis Ababa on January 31st and February 1st. Mr Fiseha from the gender coordination unit of Ethiopian Institute of Agriculture (EIAR) presented FRG experiences in one of the session meetings. On the following day, the conference participants joined one of the field trips. One group visited a FRG project site and interacted with a farmer group working on vegetable, vegetable seed and dairy with active female members. There was an active discussion between the visitors and the farmers. The visitors visited also some of the members' farm yards and observed improved practices by farmers.
