Project News

The Provincial Project Office has been set up in the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office. The District Project Offices will also be set up respectively in the District Health Offices of Barru, Bulukumba and Wajo to manage the Project activities. The Provincial Project Office has started its activities with the following four staff members: (from the right in the photo)

Ricky Djodjobo : Provincial Coordinator
KATO Kazumi : Project Officer for General Affairs
Nita Arianti : Secretary / Interpreter
Noval Rahman : Public Relation Officer

Two Japanese experts are expected to join the Provincial Project Team from February 2011. The Provincial Project Team will cooperate with the South Sulawesi Government, the three District Governments and JICA Makassar Field Office to effectively manage the project activities.

Dr. Mappatoba, Head Division of Community Health of Health Office, South Sulawesi Province and Mr. Yamashita, JICA Makassar Field Office. Team work among the concerned organization is a key to the project success.
