The 1st Joint Coordination Committe (JCC) and Steering Committee (SC) Meeting have been conducted on 5 May 2011 at Kaca Meeting Room of Ministry of Health at Jakarta. The meeting was attended by 40 participants including the counterparts from the central ministries, provincial government and district governments. In the meeting, project progress (November 2010-April 2011) was reported and the meeting was continued with discussion about next step planned for PRIMA Kesehatan phase-2.

The meeting was officially opened by Dr. P.A. Kodrat Pramudho, SKM, M.Kes, Head Division of Community Empowerment and Partnership, Health Promotion Center, Ministry of Health, representing Head of Health Promotion Center. Then, Drs. A. Irawan Bintang MT, Head Division of Organizational and Human Resources Development of BAPPEDA South Sulawesi Province gave a speech as a representative of Head of BAPPEDA South Sulawesi Province and followed by a remark from Mr. Kazuo Nakagawa, Representative of JICA-MFO.

Afterward Dr. Masako Sasaki as a team leader of PRIMA Kesehatan phase-2 explained the background, objectives and expected outputs of the project. Then, presentation was given by dr. H. Andi Mappatoba, DTAS, MBA, Head Division of Community Health of Health Office of South Sulawesi Province about the progress of PRIMA Kesehatan fase-2 activities. A series of presentation was made by each district representatives about a progress of activities and a next plan of the project. After presentation and discussion, the meeting was closed by Dr. Kodrat. He suggested that PRIMA Kesehatan stakeholders should utilize every opportunity to share the updates of the current activities carried out in the districts more frequently.
