On 8 July 2011, a report meeting of PRIMA Kesehatan counterpart training in Japan was held to share the outcomes of the training with action plans for the future project activities. It was conducted at Meeting Room in the Office of BAPPEDA South Sulawesi Province attended by 31 people. The meeting was opened by Ir.H.Tan Malaka Guntur, M.Si (Head of BAPPEDA South Sulawesi Province / Project Director of PRIMA Kesehatan phase-2). In his speech, he expected that the counterparts’ experience in Japan can be adopted in guideline on community health development planning in the future. The meeting also attended by Mr. Chigiru Yamashita, representing JICA MFO (Makassar Field Office).

Presentation of Provincial counterpart was made by dr. H. Andi Mappatoba, DTAS, MBA (Head Division of Community Health of Health Office of South Sulawesi Province). The other presentations were from 3 target districts which respectively presented by dr. Haryanda, Head of Health Office District of Barru, Ir.H. Burhanuddin Kadir, MP, Head of BAPPEDA district of Bulukumba, and dr. H. Abdul Azis, M.Kes.,Head of Health Office district of Wajo. The presentation was very impressive and shown what they have learned and observed in Japan became a good opportunity to inspire new ideas for the implementation of PRIMA Kesehatan Phase 2, such as model development, system strengthening and policy making.
