We finished developing a curriculum for disaster nursing except table-top exercise in June and started development of the module. The Module is also divided into several parts and allocated draft development tasks to persons in charge.

After two month their working to develop the draft of module, we conducted a workshop to discuss the contents of the module on 15th June 2014. In the workshop, main point to be discussed was if the contents of the module are consistent with the curriculum.

Because Indonesia recognized the lack of knowledge and experience to develop curriculum for disaster nursing, Indonesia proposed the support for disaster nursing as a part of the project. This recognition was reconfirmed through the project activity.

JICA will deploy long- and short-term experts according to the needs so that Indonesia can develop effective curriculum and module for disaster nursing.
