The project discussed on competency assessment tool for the Ladder since May with Jakarta and Bandung team of the project. As a result, comprehensive assessment tool which use narrative assessment is more suitable than Indonesian traditional assessment method such as written test, check list for nursing service procedure.

In addition, nurses were evaluated based on their education background, how many trainings they participate etc. historically, however, it was recognized that the assessment would be more competency-based.

We will share this conclusion with another areas project members and discuss to finalize the competency assessment tool in December 2014.
