Workshop on the table-top exercise was conducted in 26 and 27 August 2015.

The project team has been developing a curriculum for Disaster Nursing and table-top exercise is one of the contents. However, Indonesian counterparts did not have enough experience on the table-top exercise, therefore the input from the experts was needed. We invited a short-term expert for table-top exercise and conducted workshop.

In the workshop, we, Japanese experts and counterparts reconfirmed various kinds of simulations including table-top exercise and its advantage and demerit. After that, the short-term expert facilitated a exercise that counterparts did a table-top exercise. The counterparts deepened the understanding towards table-top exercise through their own experience to do the exercise.

It is expected that the counterparts will develop appropriate scenario of table-top exercise in line with the curriculum for Disaster Nursing and will conduct the exercise effectively.
