In Indonesia, the system for detecting adverse events caused by drugs and processed food products is not sufficient. When such events happen, the system tends to face difficulty to deal with solving problems earlier. For these reasons, this project aims to strengthen the functions of Food Safety Department, Pharmaceutical Department, and Food Inspection Department of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control of Republic of Indonesia by supporting the establishment of monitoring system for pharmaceuticals and processed foods and of promptly responding system when their adverse events occur.
