Project News

An integrated working group meeting was held on 26th Nov, 2012 and a Steering Committee meeting was held on 27th Nov. The purpose of these meetings was to explain the contents of the Progress Report submitted in September and to engage in consultations. The JICA team explained the progress of the project and Future Vision and short-term strategy for the Nacala Corridor region. A deep discussion was carried out through the questions and comments from each provincial government (Permanent Secretary and Provincial Directors from key sectors) and Central Governments (National Directors from various ministries and agencies). After incorporating these comments, a detailed plan will be prepared in the next Interim Report.
