Niassa Province Meeting

We made a presentation about the outline of the project and the "Future Vision and Short-term Strategies for the Nacala Corridor" regarding the outcomes up to present at the directors meeting chaired by the provincial governor of each province. We could disseminate the current information regarding this project and come to a deeper understanding by collecting the needs from each province.

After the Steering Committee meeting on 27th Nov, we went around to 5 provinces in line with the below-mentioned schedule.

• Niassa Province: 7th Dec (Fri) 10:00-13:25
• Nampula Province: 10th Dec (Mon) 8:00-10:50
• Cabo Delgado Province: 11th Dec (Tue) 7:30-11:00
• Zambezia Province: 14th Dec (Fri) 7:45-10:30
• Tete Province: 21st Dec (Fri) 40min in the morning

As each province gathered the director from different sectors, various relevant officials, other than participants of WG/SC, could be informed about the progress and outcomes of the project. The provincial governors mentioned that they were pleased to continue to assist the project and to exchange the information.
