The project conducts barrier-free renovation works in skills training centres to provide and increase the skills training opportunities for not only Demobilised Soldiers with Disabilities (DSwDs) but also Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Barrier-free renovation works improve the accessibility to PwDs physically, but the approach to clear away the mental and social bias and barrier with the sustainable manner has been called for.
On 18th June 2008, the project carried out the inspection for the barrier-free renovation work at CFJ Rwabuye in Huye District.
