Project News

As a closing event for the first fiscal year activities, a Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) meeting was held on the 4th of March 2008.

About 20 participants, including members of JCC and other project concerns, gathered at a conference room in Rwamagana District where the project base is located. The project team reported on project activities and a discussion session was held between the attendants. Issues for consideration and concepts for further activities were actively proposed and recommended by the participants to exceed the scheduled timeframe. Also, the JCC members who are responsible for Rwanda’s water administration gave high anticipation to PURA-SANI.

The precious opinions of the attendants will be used as reference to plan the activities for the second fiscal year.
