Located in 160km north of Dodoma, Kondoa district with their Council Director as an energetic leader, even though not one of project target districts at this moment, is now passionate about the O&OD project.

In response to their call, O&OD team conducted a baseline survey on 30th and 31st May, visiting the district council to give a seminar on O&OD project followed by field visit to observe community based activities such as construction of village office, women's group activity and the irrigation facility which has been managed by community people.

Even though the further study will be needed to seek the possibility of support for Kondoa district, the team is determined to appreciate those attitude and expectation for the O&OD project.
