Joint Mid-term Evaluation and Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting Implemented

In the second half of October 2008, the mid-term evaluation was carried out to make suggestions for the second half of the period. The JICA members and Turkish members formulated the joint team to conduct the fair evaluation. The evaluation team conducted questionnaire and interview survey, field inspection, review of documents, etc.

The study results were compiled in the mid-term evaluation report. It concluded that the Project had run as planed in general, but it also said 10 items of
recommendations for smooth implementation in the rest of the project period. The evaluation results were reported and confirmed in the Joint
Coordinating Committee meeting on October 30,
2008. The framework of the Project was also revised and approved in the meeting.
