Ambience of the meeting

The Maternal and Child Health handbook (MCH handbook) has been revised five times from April 2011.

On 3 November, 2011, a working group meeting for confirming the final draft of MCH handbook was held in the meeting room at the Maternal and Child Health Department (MCH Dept.) of the Ministry of Health (MOH).

In the meeting, there were 15 participants including representatives of MCH Dept., Medical Service Administration (MOH), JICA MCH Handbook Project office, National Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, National Hospital of Pediatrics, National Expanded Program for Immunization and National Institute of Nutrition. These members were the same experts who had contributed their comments from different professional viewpoint s to the MCH handbook from the very first draft.

At the meeting all professional participants confirmed their consent to the final version of MCH handbook and the guideline how to use the MCH handbook for the medical staff.

The Project office will check the all contents include the misused and missing works on the MCH handbook and guideline once again, and then will print them out.
