The Kick-off Seminar was held in March 18th, 2011 at National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (NIHE) with participation of 35 attendants including General Department of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health), Director and staff of NIHE, Vice Director and staff of Pasteur Institute Ho Chi Minh City (3 attendants), Vice Director and staff of Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang (3 attendants), Director and staff of Tay Nguyen Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (3 attendants), Chief Representative and staff of JICA Vietnam Office (3 attendants) and JICA-NIHE Project Office (5 attendants). During this seminar, attendants discussed on Plan of Operations, training content, selection of supported equipment, dispatch of expert. All opinions and comments would be summarized to make detailed Plan of Operations later on.
