The 3rd Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting was organized on March 10th, 2016 at La Thanh hotel with participation of representative from JICA Vietnam Office, Project's Japanese experts, Director and Deputy Director of Medical Service Department of Ministry of Health and PPMU members from all 6 target provinces.

JCC meeting is the highest decision making occasion which is held annually, whose purposes are to review and evaluate the progress of the Project, approve annual working plan and to discuss and exchange opinions on major issues that arise during the implementation of the project.

The 3rd JCC meeting focused on report and discussion overall review of the output of the Project since commencement of the Project, achievement of 2015 activities, 2016 working plan and updated version of PDM.

It was reported that DOHA and referral system was established and managerial capacity of the staff in charge of DOHA and referral in each target province was strengthened. Thus all participants confirmed that Project purpose has being achieved successfully.

In this final year of the Project implementation, commitment to the achievement of the goals was shared among all participants including the key activities such as development of the software on referral data management and the publication of DOHA handbook.
