Opening ceremony of Duckweed Holobiont Resource & Research Center (DHbRC)

On the occasion of completion of JICA’s provision of most research instruments for DHbRC in Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University (KU), the Project had an opening ceremony of DHbRC, inviting Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of KU, Assoc. Prof. Apisit Songsasen, Dean of Faculty of Science, KU, Mr. Ryoichi Kawabe, Senior Representative, JICA Thailand office and others.
Participants from the Project were Prof. Dr. Arinthip Thamchaipenet, Project Manager, Prof. Dr. Masaaki Morikawa and other researchers including students.
Besides the ceremony, a press meeting and DHbRC visit were also held.
Establishment of DHbRC is regarded as a significant milestone for the Project.
