Dispatch of Short term researcher (Short term expert)

Prof. Dr. Masaaki Morikawa (Hokkaido Univ, Chief Researcher, G1&3) and Prof. Dr. Tadashi Toyama (Univ. of Yamanashi, G5) visited Thailand in a period of 10 – 15 September and 10 – 16 September respectively.

Prof. Morikawa worked with Prof. Toyama on G5 research. In addition, he had following discussions with counterparts.
>G6 activities and 7th ICDRA with Prof. Arinthip (Project Manager) and Dr. Metha
>G3 activities with Dr. Witcha
>Plant Factory with Dr. Weerasin, Dr. Roypim and Ms. Juthaporn

Prof. Toyama performed tasks of Wastewater treatment (WWT) in Kasetsart Univ. and Lopburi province with Dr. Chart and students.

The project consists of six research groups namely: G1: Duckweed Holobiont Resource & Research Center (DHbRC). G2: Duckweed holobiont collection. G3: Duckweed holobiont analysis and biotechnology. G4: Duckweed biomass utilization. G5: Duckweed wastewater treatment technology. G6: Social implementation activities toward BCG economy.
