Outline of Activities
Prof. Morikawa met with the Thai project manager, Prof. Arinthip (Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University), and other key members of each research group to exchange opinions on the progress of the research and the future.
Prof. Mori and Prof. Toyama worked together with the G5 team led by Prof. Chart (Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University) and visited the duckweed water treatment research site in Lop Buri Province. Please check the report.

The project consists of six research groups namely: G1: Duckweed Holobiont Resource & Research Center (DHbRC). G2: Duckweed holobiont collection. G3: Duckweed holobiont analysis and biotechnology. G4: Duckweed biomass utilization. G5: Duckweed wastewater treatment technology. G6: Social implementation activities toward BCG economy.
