The 7th International Conference on Duckweed Research and Applications

The 7th International Conference on Duckweed Research and Applications (ICDRA) was hosted by Kasetsart Univeesity (KU) from 12 to 16 November 2024 in Bangkok. Japanese side has worked together with KU to organize the conference since the beginning.
In the conference, the project members, both Thai and Japanese, made a lot of valuable presentations and won the awards.

Taking opportunity of an excursion program, the project showcased Duckweed Holobiont Research Center (DHbRC) to which JICA had provided various scientific instruments, and on-going research about Duckweed application to wastewater treatment.
The conference and the project were reported by a Thai TV station and social media.
The project team are happy and very proud of a big success of the conference.
Next ICDRA will be held in 2026 in Naples, Italy.
