1st Joint Symposium on Development of the Duckweed Holobiont Resource Values towards Thailand BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) Economy (Be-HoBiD) (2022-09-21)

The project organized the ‘1st Joint Symposium on Development of the Duckweed Holobiont Resource Values towards Thailand BCG Economy’ in Bangkok on 21 September 2022.

Dr. Chongrak W., Kasetsart Univ. President, JICA Thailand Office representatives, Be-HoBiD Thai team members, students and nine Japanese short-term researchers and others, total about 80 people participated.

Throughout of the event, which had two parts, namely AM: Open symposium and PM: Internal symposium, enthusiastic and fruitful opinions and comments were exchanged. It was not only a symposium but also the 1st opportunity for the project members to meet after the project had started.

After the symposium, Japanese team were welcomed in a reception hosted by Dr. Apisit S., Dean Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University(KU).
