Smart City Project participated in an investment forum for the Mekong region.

During the forum, Tip Piseth, Director of the Investment & Planning Division, Siem Reap Provincial Administration, the counterpart of the project, explained the advantages of investing in Siem Reap and also introduced the Smart City project.

The project expert also gave a presentation. He provided participants with an overview of Japan's support to Siem Reap to date, as well as an overview of the Smart City Project and its future prospects.

Participants were interested in learning more about Siem Reap's smart city and asked many questions during the forum breaks.

Since the private sector has an important role to play in the development of smart city, the project intends to continue to promote Siem Reap's smart city activities to induce the investment related to smart city.
