Participated in Thailand Smart City Expo 2023 in Bangkok

The Project participated in Thailand Smart City Expo 2023, which was held at Queen Sirikit International Conference Centre in Bangkok on November 22nd and 23rd, 2023.

At the panel discussion on "Enhancing ASEAN Cities through Global Partnerships" held on the second day, the chief advisor of the JICA Siem Reap smart city project took the stage as Panellist with UNIDO, USTDA and shared advice on how to utilize the knowledge of the project in the ASEAN region.

In addition, from the central government of Japan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, as well as Aizuwakamatsu City, Takamatsu City, and Fukuoka City, participated and introduced the smart city initiatives of the Japanese government and local governments.

Not only Thai and Japanese companies, but also Chinese and Korean companies are also increasing their presence at the exhibition booths. However, introducing the comprehensive efforts of Japan was able to demonstrate Japan's presence to Thai industry, government, and academia.
